Q.  What is karate?

A. Karate is a martial art suitable for all ages. It is primarily a "striking" art, using a variety of kicking, punching, striking and blocking techniques, along with evasive tactics.

Q. What are the benefits of karate training?

A. Karate is about self discipline, of mind and body, self protection and personal security. Karate is a dynamic form of physical training and will lead to increased levels of physical fitness, physical coordination and balance. Proper karate training teaches values of character, justice, respect, control and etiquette.

Q. What classes are available?  

A. Instruction can be given on a one to one  or group basis. Classes can be customised to individual / group requirements. 

Q. Do I need a uniform?

A. No. Beginner's are not required to wear a karate uniform. In the more advanced group classes uniforms are required.

Q. Is karate dangerous?

A. Karate can be dangerous if students are reckless and careless in training. Your safety and well being is paramount during all classes.
